We were travelling to Thailand for a few weeks and after deciding that a UK wedding wasn’t what we wanted due to outside interference which was overshadowing our special day. We considered the idea of getting married by ourselves in Thailand whilst we were away so contacted Jit to enquire if this was possible.

Jit worked everything out around our itinerary and when we arrived in Thailand she arranged for a chaperone to take us to our respective embassy’s in Bangkok to formalise our paperwork ahead of the big day.

On the day itself we started early with a trip to the local market to buy food offerings for the local monks which we arranged and prepared under direction. We met a number of monks on the street who offered us their blessings. Later that morning we were taken to the district offices where the legal part of our marriage was conducted by the district leader. After this we were taken to the countryside where we rode an elephant down a river and had some wonderful pictures taken. This was followed by a traditional ceremony at a local temple. A special experience indeed.

We went to the beautiful wedding house in the mountains and were joined by the village elders and some musicians for a meal after the knot tying ceremony.

It was the perfect setting for some beautiful photographs and the day is still vivid in our memories as it approaches our fifth wedding anniversary!

I’m writing this review after looking through our wedding albums with our two children who love to look at the beautiful photos of mummy and daddy on their special wedding day. We hope to return one day with the children to show them the beautiful city of Chiang Mai!

If you are considering getting married abroad I would highly recommend letting Jit take care of your special day as it was a stress free experience in the most beautiful settings
which we shall never forget.

From start to finish Jit and her team were absolutely amazing. There was no question too many, no detail spared and nothing they couldn’t do to make our day special.

Getting married and planning your day can be very stressful, especially when the planning is left in the hands of someone else so far away! However, Jit made us feel completely at ease and maintained regular communication with planning details right up until the day itself. With my partner serving overseas for some time it was a huge relief knowing someone was there to help us create our special day every step of the way.

When Lee returned from overseas we packed up our lives into storage and embarked on a three month trip of a lifetime visiting Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. During our time out there we met a member of Jits team to hand over paper work for the legal side of our marriage in Thailand. We then were able to relax and enjoy our time without worries knowing everything was in safe hands.

When the build up to our wedding arrived we landed into Chiang Mai where we met Jit and paid for the wedding costs and met the team. Few days later we had our first viewing of our wedding attire.We were both over the moon with the details and the results of the teams work they had put into our beautiful clothes. Now we felt like we were getting married! There was a small measurement issue with my bridal dress, however I had nothing to fear as they were straight on it and a matter of a day later I was called into the shop for a final fitting. Everything was absolute perfect and now that our guests had landed in Chiang Mai we had a few days sharing the beautiful sites and getting excited for our big day! We were so worried as freak weather had hit Chiang Mai and it had been raining continuously for two days, going to bed the evening before we all had our fingers crossed that luck would come our way!

We awoke to a dark but dry start to the day. The day itself was just simply unbelievable. We were nervous at first as we didn’t know what to expect! Getting up before dawn to go to the market to pick out our blessings was an absolutely amazing experience both of us will never forget. From picking them out, to making them and then eagerly (and nervously!) awaiting the monks passing by to receive our blessings was just such an amazing way to start our special day.

When the time came to be picked up we were all so so happy to see the clouds part and the sun break through, it really felt like it was our day and we knew it was going to be something so special. Jits team looking after us as bride and groom were wonderful and we really felt at our best. Seeing my Husband and vice versa was such a beautiful moment, we really felt incredible in our traditional attire. Each step of the way from here on, Jit and her team made all of us feel so comfortable and at ease, with every surprise round the corner. Every element was perfect, but a personal highlight would be the Food. Absolutely AMAZING! The best food we had the entire trip and by far. It was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests who did not have the luxury of the same time we had experienced out there, we able to have a real taste of Thailand.

Being back home and showing our pictures to family, sharing the wonderful video with them we just look back and think how lucky we are to have had such an amazing day and experience. Jit and her team were responsible for this. We cannot Thank you enough x x x

I came to Thailand on short notice. I had limited time to plan a wedding and ceremony for myself and my wife. I found Jit online and she was so helpful and kind. Every detail was taken care of, from the dress to the meal, to the Christian minister, to the amazing garden. It was a special day that Remny and myself will remember always. We have been remiss for not writing sooner, as Jit gave us the day of our dreams when we renewed our vows to celebrate our 20th anniversary. She made everything so special, and it was so easy and natural for her – she is truly an angel doing what she loves, and making special memories for people. From fixing our wedding attire upon arrival (to account for a few extra pounds put on during the vacation), to taking extra care of me since I was ill – Jit was amazingly attentive. The day was beyond our wildest expectations. The temple ceremony, the incredible flowers, the gorgeous reception villa, the delicious food, and the charming local elders… It was fantastic. Just put your trust in Jit, and you will be thrilled beyond words. Thank you so much for everything!

From the planning in Australia until arriving in Thailand, we had nothing to worry about because Jit was so organised and took care of us and our guests to every last detail! Our wedding was everything we imagined and a lot more. Our guests were left in wonder as to each step as our day unfolded. We arrived as friends but feel like we leave with a family in Chiang Mai such was the love and care bestowed upon us on our special day. We would not hesitate to recommend Jit to anyone; you are in the best of professional and personal hands!!

We started planning our wedding with Jit over email while we were living in the Netherlands. Of course, getting married is a very special day so it did feel a bit strange putting it completely in the hands of someone we had never met in person (especially given that we had almost 30 guests from around the world attending). When we arrived in Chiang Mai, we were very pleasantly surprised by how professional, kind and knowledgeable Jit was. And of course, incredibly committed. We had some troubles with registering our marriage in Thailand and Jit went way beyond our expectations to assist us.

As for the wedding day itself, we could not have imagined a more perfect day. We were blown away by how amazing every aspect of the wedding was, thanks to Jit and her wonderful and talented team. We could not have arranged a more wonderful wedding ourselves. Oh yes, and we got many wonderful photos of the wedding as well as a video. The Jazz band was fantastic too. We would like to say one last HUGE thank you to Jit and her team for everything.

After nine months of traveling and while on a romantic dinner cruise in Bangkok, my boyfriend proposed. During our Thailand travels we found Chiang Mai to be a new favorite spot and decided, out of the blue, to have a Buddhist ceremony (or blessing) before returning to the states where we would make it official and celebrate with family and friends.

We feel very lucky to have found Somchit Srimoon (or AKA Jit). She was essential in making our day incredibly memorable. Although she has a fantastic package available, our friends and family were not with us, so we decided to pick and choose the parts that we wanted. It was a wonderful and long day that could not have been easier or run smoother for us. Jit and her staff were extremely professional, creative and fun! The photographer gave us a CD with over 700 pictures and we used our GoPro as to record everything. It will be fun but difficult to select from the great pictures add to our video. I can’t wait to show it at our US ceremony so that our friends and family can partake in our beautiful and very special day.

We would highly recommend her, she is extremely knowledgeable, calm, and experienced. Think of her as your fairy Godmother.

We (a German couple, 24/32) didn’t want to have a normal wedding and since we have traveled a lot, we were looking for a place to marry abroad. To do that in Thailand was our initial thought, but we didn’t want to get married down by the beaches. We`ve been to Chiang Mai before and really liked it there. After some online research we came to thailandweddings.com. A few emails later everything was booked. We went for the Deluxe Buddhism package. The paperwork and all the organisation with the embassy in BKK in advance was very professional and smooth. The contact with Jit was very nice and we were looking forward to our wedding day.
Arrived in CM, Jit took care of everything. At our wedding day we were picked up by Jit very early in the morning to go to a local food market, buying food and flowers, that we prepared and gave to the monks to receive their blessing – it was wonderful. After a short rest back at our hotel, we got dressed a Jits place. The costumes were great. With our family we went to the register office to sign our marriage. Afterwards we drove to temple outside CM where we had like an audience with a monk, which was very inspirational and emotional. Some buddhism ceremonies like releasing birds to the sky and fishes to a lake took place there. Then we drove to the wedding house which is a place like heaven. Surrounded by jungle and hills in a wonderful garden with beautiful flowers. The traditionell Lanna ceremony with people from the village was the last part of the wedding. The atmosphere, the food and everything else was just perfect!
We didn’t expect our wedding day to be the best day of our life but what Jit and her team made for us on that day was way beyond our expectations. Thank you!

Having organized everything of the internet you sometimes panic a bit on what you see in the photos is it really going to as perfect YES in EVERY way and so much more.
